PLANETARY HEALTH CHECK PORTAL

The Planetary Health Check is the most comprehensive, science-based global initiative dedicated to measuring and maintaining the Earth system.

Site developed in partnership with the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research and the Planetary Guardians.

EARTH PUBLIC INFORMATION COLLABORATIVE

In collaboration with New Zero World, Science Influencer Studio and partners, the Earth Public Information Collaborative (EPIC) is a global communications convener with a mission to harness the power of media, tech, advertising and marketing to engage the public with vital information, science, and solutions through tailored campaigns – using media and storytelling to inspire action at the speed and scale needed to address the nature and climate crises.

As part of this, the Climate Communications Research Hub, a program from New Zero World, provides world-leading research and insights from the best in science communications, creativity, and cultural influence. ‘A New Era in Climate Communications‘ was released in 2023 and is a collaborative effort spanning 60+ contributors and organizations developed by the New Zero World in partnership and with the support of the Global Commons Alliance. With this work, we want to lay the foundation for a transformed future through the power of communication and creativity.

MONGABAY INVESTIGATIVE REPORTING

Mongabay is a nonprofit news outlet that promotes independent investigative journalism on environmental science and conservation issues.

FUTURE GENERATIONS TRIBUNAL

Future Generations Tribunal is designed to give youth real power over decision-making outcomes and processes, focused on seeking genuine justice.

GLOBAL ARTIVISM MOVEMENT

A collaboration with Riky Rick Foundation and the Community Arts Network. Hosted in partnership with the Global Commons Alliance, the Faculty of Arts and Design at Tshwane University of Technology, the Riky Rick Foundation for the Promotion of Artivism, and Community Arts Network, in September 2024 we hosted Gloabl Artivism Conference in Tshwane (Pretoria), South Africa. The event brought together two essential aspects: an academic conference and a platform for networking, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas among artists, scholars, activists and students from around the globe.

NATURE POSITIVE PAVILION AT COP

Earth HQ facilitates and supports the Nature Pavilion and Nature’s Newsroom at the COPs – a collaboration with the UN High-Level Climate Champions, Nature 4 Climate and 80+ partners – to support the robust and swift implementation of the Global Biodiversity Framework alongside the Paris Agreement. We have hosted events at the Nature Positive Pavilion at COP27 and COP28 climate conferences in Egypt and the UAE, and the COP16 biodiversity conference in Colombia.
