GCA at COP28

23/11/2023

The Global Commons Alliance, many of our partners, and our core components – Accountability Accelerator, Earth Commission, Earth HQ,  Science Based Targets Network and Systems Change Lab – were in the UAE for the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28).

We attended and hosted events at the Nature Positive Pavilion in the Blue Zone, in partnership with Nature4Climate, the High-Level Climate Champions and 80 other partners, to support the robust and swift implementation of the Global Biodiversity Framework alongside the Paris Agreement.

We also hosted a Global Commons Pavilion in the Blue Zone to provide space for collaborating across sectors to push for systems wide action to repair, regenerate and restore the global commons for all people, by all people.
