The Global Commons Alliance, partners and members – including Accountability Accelerator, Earth Commission, Earth HQ, and Science Based Targets Network – are joining business, political, local and civil society leaders from all over the world in New York for Climate Week NYC, which takes place 21-28 September 2025.

The Nature Hub at Climate Week NYC

Over three thematic days, the Nature Hub will host 40+ events and convene more than 2,000 participants. Curated by the Nature4Climate Coalition alongside 19 partners spanning environmental NGOs, the private sector, and philanthropy, the Nature Hub CWNYC agenda will spotlight cross-sector action to Lead, Invest, Adapt, and Grow — With Nature. The Journey Continues

This Resilience Hub event deepens the journey from science to strategy, with a particular focus on the transformative role that targeted, patient and community-informed financial investments could play. From boardroom buy-in to supply chain action, this session offers practical guidance to help more companies take credible steps for nature by setting science-based targets for nature. Creators Workshop on Climate Communications

Convened by New Zero World, with Earth Public Information Collaborative and Horizon Media, supported by H&M Foundation and in collaboration with Conspirators, the workshop will bring together storytellers, digital creators, and innovators passionate about using their voices for climate action. Planetary Health Check launch

This time last year the first-of-its-kind scientific tool and report on the health of the Earth’s vital systems, the Planetary Health Check, was launched. Built and hosted by the Global Commons Alliance EarthHQ, Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research and the Planetary Guardians, reports will be published annually in recognition of the importance of timely updates on Earth’s health, and shows how the boundary processes relate to each other as well as with earth-system tipping points.
