The Global Commons Alliance, partners and members – including Earth Commission, Science Based Targets Network and many more – will be in Belém, Brazil, for the 30th UN Climate Change Conference (COP30), November 10-21, 2025.

COP30 marks the halfway point to 2030, the deadline for nations to meet their Paris Agreement climate pledges. So this summit is crucial for assessing progress so far, negotiating stronger plans, and accelerating action. This year will also focus on adaptation finance, Indigenous stewardship, and nature-based solutions, particularly in the Amazon.

The time for systems change to safeguard our global commons is now. We look forward to working together at COP30 for a just world, on a safe planet.
