Bill Nye Wants Pennsylvania to Vote for Science
Pennsylvania cities and counties are among the most polluted in the U.S. — it’s just one of the reasons why Bill Nye wants residents to #VoteForScience.
Early voting in Pennsylvania has begun, and science is on the ballot.
Precipitation in the state has increased over the last century, bringing in large storms, power outages, and a negative impact on the economy. Fossil fuel production remains. And many Pennsylvania cities are among the most polluted in the U.S., contributing to more than 4,800 deaths in 2018. ‘
It is, of course, a beautiful state,’ says Bill Nye. ‘But it’s not gonna stay beautiful unless we address climate change.’
Pennsylvanians can vote early in person through October 27, or vote until 8 pm on Election Day, November 3.
