Bill Nye Wants Florida to Vote for Science

Bill Nye is urging Floridians to #VoteForScience as climate change intensifies extreme weather events, potentially forcing people from their homes.

Early voting in Florida has begun, and science is on the ballot. Much of Florida could soon be under 4 feet of water, potentially forcing 2 million people from their homes by 2100.

Climate change has made hurricanes in the region stronger — in fact, they could double in frequency by the end of the century. ‘Look everybody, we’ve gotta vote,’ says Bill Nye.

Floridians can get their absentee or mail-in ballots by October 24 and send it in by November 3.
